HealthRider Owner Says "Pass" On This Upgrade / Wendeanne, NJ8/16/2008 As a satisfied owner of the original HealthRider when it hit the market back in the mid-90''s, I had high hopes for this upgrade. While the original HealthRider was usuable practically out of the box, this model required TONS of assembly, with most pieces not fitting properly. The new shock piston that is supposed to provide additional resistance does that in a jerky and uncoordinated fashion, sometimes causing pain. I would definitely pass on this one.
