Andrew Lessman's New Women's Wellness is a natural formula designed to support the special needs of women at all stages of life. It contains our highest levels of natural isoflavones and phytoestrogens, including genistein and daidzein. Preliminary studies suggest that phytoestrogens, like those contained in Women's Wellness, can help to reduce hot flashes, night sweats and other menopausal symptoms - but evidence is not conclusive.

Soy isoflavones may also help support and maintain post-menopausal bone health. For thousands of years, soy has been a staple food in the healthy Asian diet and Women's Wellness contains its highest levels from an ultra-high (40%) potency standardization of soy isoflavones. In addition to the benefits of soy, we include 100 milligrams of calcium, the most vital mineral in the skeleton and a critical building block for strong, healthy bones, along with its skeletal support partners, Vitamin D, phosphorus and silicon.

Women's Wellness also contains standardized extracts and concentrates of key foods that have long been associated with the support of women's health. It delivers 250 milligrams of a concentrated, standardized extract of green tea, which is the customary beverage consumed in the healthy Asian diet. The formula includes 125 milligrams of the polyphenol Epigallocateching Gallate (EGCG). EGCG has been the subject of some of the most exciting anti-aging research, and is the molecule primarily responsible for the myriad of health benefits associated with green tea. We include 50 milligrams of our special broccoli sprout extract standardized for sulforaphane, which is viewed as the primary antioxidant responsible for delivering broccoli's antioxidant and health benefits.

New Women's Wellness also contains 250 milligrams of our special cranberry concentrate, which provides a powerful source of antioxidants and offers natural support to a woman's urinary tract. We also add two powerful antioxidant carotenoids, lutein and lycopene (not included in most women's supplement products and included here at levels higher than found in leading multivitamins), because they are so supportive of the health of uniquely female tissues, organs and systems. High levels of folic acid and Vitamin B12 are included to offer special support to a woman's energy, nervous, circulatory and reproductive systems.
